MFSO Board Member Lisa Leitz on CNN

Dear Military Families,

We are very pleased to share an inspiring segment with our own Lisa Leitz, MFSO Board Member and Military Spouse, that was aired on CNN’s American Morning on Tuesday, November 3rd.  Her poise, presentation, and message were a great example of the intelligence and credibility of our cause.  We are very proud of Lisa and the great work she does for MFSO.  

In the coming weeks, as the Obama Administration prepares to announce a possible surge in troop levels in Afghanistan, MFSO members are in a great strategic position to get our message out.  We know first hand that the continued occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq accomplish nothing but further stress and horror for us and the people of those countries.  After watching the following piece, we urge you all to pursue contacts with your local press and media.  In the coming days, we will be releasing MFSO talking points, with tips and pointers on how to attract media attention, give effective interviews, and capitalize on the credibility of our unique position of being military families.
